“Lost City” was created with several layers over several days creating an intriguing work of art with depth and dimensional interest. I started with texture mediums, and once dry added layers of vivid acrylic paint. The final layers of metallic copper and gold were then scraped back to reveal the history of the painting. The painting has a mystical and moody essence but with a contradiction of pops of a brighter palette from the underpainting.
The painting is wired for a horizontal display, however my signature is on the side and back of the painting, so that you have the option to hang it vertically as well.
The 1.5 inch border is painted metallic gold, the painting is sealed with satin varnish for protection, and it arrives with a certificate of authenticity. The painting is unframed.
