Solitude 24W x 48H x 1.5″D in.

Inspired by Gerhard Richter, I occasionally come back to this painting style. Solitude was created with layers of oil paint over several weeks. The 1.5″ sides are painted in a shade of blue from the painting. Because of the gallery wrapped sides, the painting does not need to be framed. It is signed on the side, so that you have the option to hang it vertically or horizontally. It is currently wired to hang vertically. Solitude comes with a certificate of authenticity.
