“It is not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent when they are not.” -Thich Nhat Hanh
“Impermanence” No. 3 was created with texture mediums and acrylic paint. A palette of black, browns, cream, white and copper blend together through a fluid process. The gallery wrapped 1.5 in. sides are painted with a shade of Umber from the painting. The thick gallery wrapped sides ensure that the painting looks great unframed, so framing is optional. The painting is protected with matte varnish and my signature is on the side to allow for vertical or horizontal position. It is currently wired to be hung vertically, but also looks great in a horizontal position (I can adjust the wire).
This painting is a part of the Impermanence collection and two paintings in this collection have already sold.
The painting arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
