“It is not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent when they are not.” -Thich Nhat Hanh
“Impermanence” No.2 was created with acrylic paint and ink. A palette of black, browns, cream, white and copper blend together through a fluid process. The gallery wrapped 1.5 in. sides allow the painting to remain unframed. Protected with matte varnish and my signature is on the side to allow for vertical or horizontal position. It is currently wired to be hung vertically.
This listing is for one painting, but I have shared some images of it with the companion piece (No. 1) as an example if you are interested in both paintings (See Impermanence No.1 in a separate listing).
It arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
