Dawn Goes Down to Day 36W x 48H X 1.5D

$1,800.00

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. – Robert Frost

Dawn Goes Down to Is an oil painting inspired by a poem by Robert Frost. It uses a beautiful palette of golden yellow, plum, umber, cream and sienna. the sides are painted in a shade of Umber and the 1.5 in. depth makes this a gallery wrapped canvas – so framing is unnecessary. The painting is wired and ready to hang vertically- my signature is on the lower right. The painting arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
